Located in the Eastern Karoo near Middelburg Cape, Erin Farmhouse and Cottages offers guests individual farm-style cottage accommodation in a beautiful farm setting. The tranquility, fresh air, and sweeping views across the open Karoo farmland to the nearby Renosterberg mountain make this peaceful homestead the perfect place to relax and unwind.
We prioritise tranquility, with no TVs, radios, or disruptions. All units include fenced gardens, fully equipped kitchenettes, and braai / BBQ facilities, which are provided with one bag of wood. We welcome pets. You are reminded to bring their pet bedding for their comfort.

Each of the units has a fully fenced (1.2m) garden, accommodating tiny to extra-large hounds. We have had birds, cats, hamsters, and other pets stay too.
On the farm, we have our own two dogs, three cats, chickens and sheep. so we ask our guests to be respectful of their space.
As much as we love your pets, they are not allowed on the beds and furniture and you are reminded to bring their own bedding.
Please keep your dog on-leash as indicated.
All breeds of well mannared dogs are welcome. Cats and caged birds are also allowed. If you have any other pets they are welcome by prior arrangement and kept in thier appropriate portable homes.
The nearest vet after Middelburg, is Graaff Reinet.
There are some lovely walks on the property. Just check with your host where for leash requirements.
