3.1 Pet-Friendly Travel & The “Pet Policy”

If you want to take your pet on holiday, we offer a curated selection of guesthouses, B&Bs, and secluded holiday homes across South Africa that welcome your dogs, cats, birds, and horses. For every establishment, we provide a Detailed Pet Policy, ensuring transparency regarding garden enclosures, socialized dog requirements, and pet amenities.

3.2 Holistic Wellness & Education

We provide a hub of information for the conscious pet owner. From understanding species-appropriate nutrition and natural supplements to recognizing the signs of stress, our content is designed to support the physical and emotional longevity of your animals.

3.3 Advocacy for Force-Free Living

We strictly promote Force-Free Training. We provide resources to help you find professionals who utilize positive reinforcement, ensuring that your pet’s mental well-being is never compromised by aversive methods.

3.4 Responsible Sourcing & Welfare

We believe animal welfare is best served through accountability. Our platform supports:

  • Ethical Rescue: Highlighting reputable organizations that prioritize the rehabilitation and careful rehoming of animals in need.

We believe that breeders who take responsibility for their progeny are a vital part of the solution in reducing the burden on the rescue system.

4. Use of the Website

By using this site, you warrant that:

5. Product Availability & Orders

  • Stock Levels: Lead times depend on stock availability; in-stock items are typically dispatched within 2 business days of payment validation.
  • Out of Stock: If a product is out of stock, please allow approximately 10 working days plus transit time. We will notify you via email of any significant delays.
  • Order Processing: Processing begins only once full payment is reflected in our account.

6. Payment, Pricing & Security

  • Currency: All transactions are processed in South African Rands (ZAR).
  • Pricing: Prices include VAT (where applicable) but exclude shipping unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing without notice.
  • Payment Methods:
    • Credit Card: Processed via secure 128-bit SSL encrypted gateways.
    • EFT/Direct Deposit: Use your name or order number as a reference.

7. Shipping, Returns & Liability

  • Shipping: Title and risk of loss pass to you once the order leaves our premises. Re-shipping of undeliverable packages due to incorrect addresses will be at the purchaser’s expense.
  • Cancellations: In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act, you must advise us in writing within 2 days of placing your order to cancel. We cannot accept cancellations once an order has been dispatched.
  • Damaged Goods: If a product is received damaged, notify us within 24 hours with photographic evidence for assessment.
  • Limitation of Liability: The website is provided “as is”. We Love Pets SA shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of this site to the extent permitted by law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You consent to the jurisdiction of the South African courts for any disputes arising from these Terms.
