Terms and Conditions: Dog Mom Competition

1. Introduction

By entering The Dog Obsessed Dog Mom Competition (the “Competition”), participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Competition is organized by We Love Pets SA (WLPSA) in partnership with Dog Mom (www.dogmom.co.za).

2. Eligibility

    • The Competition is open strictly to legal residents of South Africa who are 18 years of age or older.

    • Employees, directors, or immediate family members of We Love Pets SA, Dog Mom, or their associated marketing agencies are not eligible to enter.

3. Competition Period

    • The Competition officially opens on 1 September 2026 at 20:00 (8 PM).

    • The Competition officially closes on 30 September 2026 at 14:00 (2 PM).

    • Any entries received outside of this window will be disqualified.

4. How to Enter & Entry Mechanisms

  • Mandatory Entry: Participants must visit the dedicated giveaway page on the WLPSA website and successfully complete the survey. The form will automatically collect the entrant’s Name, Email Address, and WhatsApp number. All required fields and questions must be completed for a valid entry.

  • Bonus Entries (Optional): Once the mandatory entry is submitted, participants can unlock bonus entries by:

    • Following Dog Mom and We Love Pets SA on Facebook and Instagram (+5 entry per channel);

    • Sharing the promotional post to their social media stories and tagging the brands (+5 entries);

    • Sending a WhatsApp message to WLPSA with the word “ENTERED” (+10 entries);

    • Sharing the bonus-entries email with a friend, cc’ing [email protected] (+20 entries).

  • Disclaimer: Social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp) are not sponsors, endorsers, or administrators of this giveaway.

5. Prizes

  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or store credit.

  • Any third-party costs (such as delivery or travel, if applicable outside the prize scope) remain the responsibility of the winner unless explicitly stated otherwise.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

  • Only valid, verified entries will be entered into the final random draw.

  • Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

  • Winners will be contacted strictly via the email address provided in the entry form by 8 October 2026.

  • If a winner does not respond to the email notification within 48 hours, the organizers reserve the right to forfeit the prize and draw an alternative winner.

7. Data Privacy & POPIA Compliance

  • By entering this Competition, you provide explicit consent to We Love Pets SA and Dog Mom to collect and process your personal information (Name, Email Address, and WhatsApp number) for the purpose of executing this competition and sending future marketing communications.

  • You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. Your data will be handled in strict accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and will never be sold to unauthorized third parties.

8. General

  • The organizers reserve the right to amend, modify, or cancel the Competition and its terms at any time if technical or unforeseen circumstances arise.

  • The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the results.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You consent to the jurisdiction of the South African courts for any disputes arising from these Terms.
