Terms and Conditions: Pawz&People Competition

1. Introduction

By entering the Pawz & People November Giveaway 2026 (the “Competition”), participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Competition is organised by We Love Pets SA (WLPSA) in collaboration with Pawz & People, with prizes generously sponsored by Injara, LickiMat, Ricky Pet Products and Pawsome Raw.

2. Eligibility

  • The Competition is open strictly to legal residents of South Africa who are 18 years of age or older.
  • Employees, directors, representatives and immediate family members of We Love Pets SA, Pawz & People, the participating prize sponsors or their associated marketing agencies are not eligible to enter.
  • No purchase is necessary to participate.

3. Competition Period

  • The Competition officially opens on 1 November 2026 at 20:00 (8 PM SAST).
  • The Competition officially closes on 30 November 2026 at 14:00 (2 PM SAST).
  • Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be eligible for the draw.

4. How to Enter & Entry Mechanisms

Mandatory Entry

To participate, entrants must:

  1. Visit the dedicated November Giveaway page on the We Love Pets SA website.
  2. Complete and submit the online competition entry form, including all mandatory survey questions.
  3. Follow Pawz & People on Facebook.

The entry form will collect the participant’s Name, Email Address and WhatsApp Number.

Only completed and valid entries will qualify for the random prize draw.

Bonus Entries (Optional)

Participants may qualify for additional entries by completing the following activities:

  • Following participating prize sponsors Injara, LickiMat, Ricky Pet Products and Pawsome Raw on their relevant social media channels. One point for each follow.
  • Sharing the official November Giveaway promotional post to their social media Stories. Five points for a share.
  • Sending a screenshot confirming their follow of Pawz & People to the official WLPSA WhatsApp number 062 521 0106. Ten bonus points for sending the screenshot.

Bonus activities are optional. 

Bonus entries are subject to verification by the organisers. Incomplete, duplicated, fraudulent or unverifiable bonus claims may be disqualified.

Social Media Disclaimer

This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or Meta. By entering, participants release these platforms from responsibility or liability arising from the Competition to the extent permitted by law.

5. Prizes

The Competition features four prize sponsors:

  • Injara
  • LickiMat
  • Ricky Pet Products
  • Pawsome Raw & African Pet Health Summit

The prizes available from each sponsor will be described on the official Competition page and in the relevant promotional material.

  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be exchanged for cash or store credit.
  • Winners must provide a valid South African delivery address.
  • The organisers will communicate prize delivery arrangements directly with the winners.
  • Any costs not expressly included in the prize description will be disclosed before prize acceptance.
  • No winner will be required to make a payment to claim a prize.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

  • Only valid, verified entries will be included in the final random draw.
  • Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries, including any verified bonus entries.
  • The draw will take place after the Competition closes on 30 November 2026.
  • Winners will be notified via the email address supplied on the entry form by 8 December 2026.
  • If a winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, the organisers reserve the right to select an alternative winner, subject to applicable law.
  • The organisers reserve the right to verify winners’ eligibility before confirming the award of any prize.
  • The random draw will be conducted in accordance with applicable South African promotional competition requirements.

The judges’ decision regarding the random selection of winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the outcome of the draw, subject to participants’ rights under applicable South African law.

Winners may decline participation in publicity or promotional activities without forfeiting their prizes.

7. Data Privacy & POPIA Compliance

By entering this Competition, participants acknowledge that We Love Pets SA will collect and process the personal information provided for the purpose of administering the Competition, verifying entries, contacting winners and facilitating prize fulfilment.

Relevant winner information may be shared with the participating prize sponsor where necessary to arrange prize delivery.

Where participants have provided separate, appropriate consent, their information may also be used for future marketing communications from We Love Pets SA and/or Pawz & People and participating prize sponsors.

Participation in the Competition does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing communications.

Participants may unsubscribe or opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and will not be sold to unauthorised third parties.

8. General

  • The organisers reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Competition where technical difficulties, circumstances beyond their reasonable control or other unforeseen events make this necessary, subject to applicable law.
  • The organisers reserve the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated through improper means or otherwise fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
  • The organisers are not responsible for entries that are incomplete, delayed or unsuccessful due to technical or connectivity problems beyond their reasonable control.
  • The organisers’ decisions concerning the administration of the Competition are final, subject to applicable consumer protection legislation.
  • These Terms and Conditions will be available on the official We Love Pets SA Competition page throughout the Competition Period and on request.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Participants consent to the jurisdiction of the South African courts in respect of any dispute arising from the Competition or these Terms and Conditions.
