Behaviour problems rarely appear “out of nowhere”; in most cases, your pet has been communicating their discomfort, fear or frustration for quite some time through subtle body language long before an escalation occurs. Animals typically “whisper” through early signs but when these subtle cues are misunderstood or ignored, they are often forced to “shout” through growling, lunging or biting to be heard.
